Private-Label Marble Products: Logo Placement and Approval

For private-label marble products, approve the logo on the intended material and surface before treating it as a repeatable production detail. Position, scale, contrast and the surrounding stone pattern all affect how the mark will appear.

Choose the customer-facing purpose

Decide whether the mark should be visible during use, discreet on the underside or limited to the packaging. A display object and a hotel amenity tray may have different branding requirements. Identify any retailer labeling rules that need to be met alongside the brand artwork.

Provide placement that can be measured

Send suitable artwork and a drawing showing its size, orientation and distance from fixed product edges. A screenshot of a logo placed on a lifestyle photograph is useful for intent but may not define the production position.

Ask which marking methods are feasible for the selected stone and finish. Do not assume that a technique approved on one material will look identical on another. If more than one method is proposed, compare actual samples before choosing.

Evaluate the sample in context

Review the mark in normal viewing conditions and on representative stone variations. Decide what level of contrast is acceptable when a vein passes behind the logo. Also check that the marking location does not interfere with the base protection, assembly or intended cleaning routine.

Separate product branding from retail labeling

Keep logo artwork, barcode labels, care inserts and carton marks as separate approved files. Assign revision identifiers so a packaging update does not accidentally change the product mark. Confirm which labels are applied to the item and which belong on a removable pack.
