Custom Marble MOQ: Planning Orders Across Multiple Designs
Understand how quantities per design, stone selection and packaging affect a custom marble order, and prepare a clear mixed-design quotation request.
For a mixed-design custom marble order, ask for the minimum quantity of each design and material, not only the total order minimum. An order containing trays, vases and display pieces may involve different fabrication and packaging work for each item.
Build a line-by-line quantity plan
Give every proposed item its own reference. List dimensions, stone, finish and quantity on the same line. If one shape is offered in several stones or sizes, show those variants separately and ask how the supplier treats their minimum quantities.
For example, a collection of three products in two materials contains six purchasing variants. A single total quantity conceals how many pieces are needed for each one and makes quotations harder to compare.
Separate product and packaging minimums
Custom boxes, printed inserts or special components may have their own ordering constraints. Ask whether they are included in the product MOQ, quoted separately or shared across compatible items. Confirm who holds any agreed surplus packaging and how it will be identified for later orders.
Use an alternative scope when the first plan does not work
Ask the supplier to compare a smaller number of designs, a shared material direction or a common packaging format where appropriate. These are options to price and review, not guaranteed ways to reduce cost. Keep the requirements that matter to your brand explicit when considering alternatives.
Separate the trial from the repeat-order plan
Explain whether the enquiry is for initial samples, a first commercial order or replenishment. Ask for the assumptions behind the quoted lead time and the conditions under which repeat pricing would need to be reviewed. Do not infer a future price guarantee from one quotation.
ROQFORM confirms quantities and schedules against the proposed specification. Prepare the quotation brief and review the wholesale ordering process before requesting a mixed-design comparison.
